Abstracts

The special session on smart sensing, control and analytics for assistive and rehabilitative systems is dedicated to recent contributions that identify and solve the key issues in the systems development giving priority to novel sensing systems, analytics algorithms and advanced control strategies in both terms of hardware and algorithms development. This special session aims at soliciting discussion on how the assistive and rehabilitative systems can be enhanced by considering the three modules and their system integration, with the ultimate goal of allowing a smooth human-system interaction. Prospective authors are invited to submit original papers to the Special Session in the areas described below.

Indicative Topics/Areas:
  • fundamentals of assistive and rehabilitative systems
  • novel wearable sensors
  • EMG/EEG/Ultrasound/FSR/vision sensing
  • FES based control stratigies
  • multi-sensory fusion
  • multimodal sensing and interaction
  • sensory learning and fusion
  • sensing based analytics
