How to use interactive at a performance?

Everyone says that the performance needs interactive. It is necessary?
Interacting with the audience is desirable when the format of the presentation allows. If you are reading a government decree or making an official statement, interactive will be inappropriate.

If the presentation is less formal and dialogue with the audience is acceptable, interactive will help to control people’s attention in order to convey a message and achieve a goal.

Are there universal techniques?
Try asking questions from your audience. The simplest are rhetorical questions that communicate your intention to the audience: “Well, are we ready to start?”, “Moving on?”

A more complex tool is a closed or alternative question, when you offer the viewers options for an answer: “Which is better, telecommuting or working in an office?” Thus, you set the desired vector and make it easier for people to answer.

The most difficult method is an open question: “Friends, what do you think about this fact?” It is difficult to formulate an answer to this question, and people’s opinions can take you by surprise, so open-ended questions should be used carefully.
